Time has flown .... school holidays and the return to school.Febuary can you believe it !!!

Welcome 2012 exciting changes on the way

I must admitt it has taken a wee while for me to get motivated and start sewing again.Slowly but surely I am moving.

Just before the holidays I had the pleasure of  custom designing this gorgeous cot bedding. Love the colur combination. A great unisex design tied in with a great basic colour !!!

This week a plan on making a range of cushions in the fantastic Scandinavian fabric I recieved late last year !

something always has to give

What a week sewing day and night.Let me tell you YES something always has to give in my house !!! The baskets of washing to put away,ironing etc etc etc.Gone were the days of being perfect as I say it can wait.

This week time management is not my best friend, it is bottoms up and get these custom designs done ...
GGGrrrrrr the cranky monster lives here this week ha ha.

On a happier note my fabric I ordered 10 months ago has arrived .I know 10 months crazy hey !!!

LOVE when new fabrics arrive !!!

The latest range has a Scandinavian influence.How good would these fabrics look in the Nifty Clear Ubabub Cot or the Ouef Sparrow.

Successful Auction

Woohooo we raised $1,131 on our Facebook Auction over the weekend .

All in support of my darling son Eden and his Walk To Cure Junevile Diabetes held this Sunday .

Thank you to everyone that donated their amazing products and to the Winners congrats.

It was so close with our Vintage Teepee myself and the other admin's decided to give both bidders a Teepee each, as it was my business and my son ...hey why not :)

Now to get back to sewing, renovating my new studio/sewing room,designing new collection for summer,preparing T-shirts for the Walk, organising a 4th birthday party and spending time with my beautiful family ...all in a week.

School Holidays are here again and ofcourse I am swamped with orders for stockists and custom designs, fingers crossed the Kaile kiddies will behave as we are off to Surfers Paradise soon.The juggle continues I would not have it any pther way .Absolutely love having the chance to stay home and watch them grow up !!! Before you know your just cool anymore as I have discovered with my darling 11 year old Eden xx

Sensational Spring

Spring has started with a BANG here at Kaile. Re-decorating and outside fun xx

Our new Vintage Collection has had such a wonderful response. RUFFLES & LACE everywhere...

Spring lifts people spirits ...happiness....motivation .... outdoor entertaining ....warm weather =beach yah!!!

Our first Winter  living on the coast was very quiet .... let's say we had minimal visitors.Now weekends are booking out.

What a week

Well I survived the 11 year old sleep over !!! It was VERY LOUD to say the least. But Eden had the time of his life and that's all that matters.

This week is one big battle I have a photo shoot Thursday, two custom designs to sew, a market on Sunday and I am doing some Interior Design for a big firm all whislt juggling 3 children while Dave is away for work.   Trying not to stress all I can say is thanks Mum ...

Looking forward to our first market in a long time Little Treasures Baby and Childrens Market at Kiama Leasure Centre 10-2pm.Looks like we be at  a few more throughout the year !!!

Time to get back to the sewing machine.

We have come to the end of our Orange Damask Set, one of our best sellers.

Time for a change or continue what works...

On a personal note it was my big baby's 11th birthday yesterday !!!

Such a chubby little bubba ( no digital camera's back in those days I had scan this in ), he is now way too cool to come near his mummy !!! They do grow up way to fast. He took cupcakes to school to share with his class and one of the young girls had a dairy allergy so she missed out. Eden was  so concerned that she was left he decided to buy her a lolly and take it to her to make her feel special !!!

I have one very compassionate young man. In the craziness of raising 3 children those moments make all worth it..

Wish me luck we are having an 11 year old sleep over party over the weekend... fun ...fun

Keeping it in OZ

What a search ... fabric designer's are just not kind when it comes to boys fabrics. Well after weeks of searching I have ordered one part of the winter range, very excited I found an amazing Australian designer. So great to support amazing designers here in OZ.

I am also working on another ..hopefully I can pull it off !!

Then off to the studio with Chantelle to finish our photoshoot .

I also snuck in order for girls set that would look fantastic with this print .

A very Happy Mothers Day

What a beautiful start to my morning three little munchkins singing HAPPY MOTHERS DAY !!!

Followed by some coco pops, piklets and a cup of tea all made by the kiddies, wow they are growing up... Lots of pressies from the mothers day stall,cards,  beautiful earings.

My house smells like BLISS,handmade soy candles from the lovely Sarah and Heidi at Bliss Candles.


Brunch at Berry Tea House, love living so close to the ocean and the country.The best of both worlds !!!

The Russian Caravan was lovely, but the herbal tea Heal was my favourite !!! If you are in Berry you must pop in ...

My hunt for boys fabrics, idea's , colour combinations is still on this week.I am getting closer though just hoping it all comes together...
